AMUSEMENTS.

OPERA HOUSE. The vaudeville entertainment given at the Opera House last evening was well attended, and all the items on the lengthy programme were heartily applauded. The conjuring tricks of Hassan, and his feat of lifting a heavy weight with his eyelids, were the star features of the programme, while the musical novelties introduced by Mr G. Banveen were highly appreciated. This evening a special " St Patrick's Night" programme will be presented, including the farce "Irish Justice." FULLER'S PICTURES. The attendance at the Colosseum last evening was a large one, and the well varied, and admirably presented series of films comprising the current half-week's programme were very favourably received. This evening a complete change of programme will be made, the new films including piotures in the London "Zoo," a series of views taken from the dome of iJ;« cathedral at Milan, a nature study entitled "Curious Caterpillars," some aspects of "Scientific Bee-farmino-" dramatic pictures entitled " On the Mexican Border" and "The Rescue of

Mollie Finney," a further instalment of the " Pathe Gazette," and a kinematographic version of the legend of Dido and Aeneas. WEST-HAY WARD PICTURES. His Majesty's Theatre was well attended last evening, when the WestHayward Pictures organisation presented an excellent series of films. The scenic pictures of Wales, Majorca and Tunis were amongst the best of their kind yet shown. The "Pathe Gazette, *No. 95 " was shown for the first time. The dramatic and humorous sections of the programme were of a high degree of merit. This evening the West-Hayward pictures will be shown in the King's Theatre, the management having given the use of His Majesty's Theatre for the St Patrick's night concert.
