CHRISTCHURCH. Friday, March 17. (Before Mr T. A. B. Bailey, S.M.) Deukkexness. —A first offender waß fined ss, in default twenty-four hours' imprisonment. —George Liversedge was charged with drunkenness and with having damaged a pair of trousers, the property of Constable Anderson, valued at 22s 6d. On the charge of drunkenness he was fined 5s or twenty-four hours' imprisonment, and on the other charge was convicted and ordered to pay the value of the trousers.
