The following is a list of regiments forming the Dofenco Force of the dominion as newly organised, showing the territorial association of each and the order of seniority : Mounted Rifles First, Mounted Rifles, Canterbury Yeomanry Cavalry; second, Wellington, West Coast; third, Auckland; fourth, Waikato; fifth, Otago Hussars; sixth, Manawatu; seventh, Southland ; eighth, South Canterbury ; ninth, Wellington-East Coast; tenth, Nelson; eleventh, North Auckland ; twelfth, Otago Mounteds. Infantry First regiment, Canterbury ; second, South Canterbury; third, Auckland ("Countess of Ranfurly's Own"); fourth, Otago Rifles; fifth, Wellington Rifles; sixth, Hauraki; seventh, Wellington-West Coast Rifles; eighth, Wellington South Rifles; ninth, "Wellington-East Coast Rifles; tenth. North Otago Rifles; eleventh, Taranaki Rifles; twelfth, Nelson; thirteenth, North Canterbury; fourteenth, South Otago Rifles; fifteenth, North Auckland; sixteenth, Waikato.
