THE IMPLEMENT TRADE. COMPULSORY CONFERENCE CALLED. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received March 16, 9.25 a.m.) MELBOURNE, March 16. The president of the Federal Arbitration Court has called a compulsory conference with a. view to settling the implement trade dispute. [Per Pbess Association.] WELLINGTON, March 16. The "Post" states that since the Blackball coal miners' award expired, negotiations between the men and the company for a new working agreement have not resulted in a settlement of the points in dispute.
