AMUSEMENTS.

FULLER'S PICTURES. The programme presented at the Colosseum for the first time last evening was well up to the standard established by Messrs Fuller and Sons. It began with a typical scenic picture, showing parts of Tunis, and passed on t> items dealing with a wide range of subjects. Dramatically, the finest pice© was a representation of " The Golden Supper."* The principal parts in the deeply dramatic story had evidently been capably acted foz\ tho kinomatograph. The scene in the tomb was specially well shown, on the screen. In a very different sphere, " The Life of a Salmon" was interesting. This series depicted the vicissitudes a salmon might be expected to go through in the waters at Victoria, British Columbia. It began with a picture of a shady pool in. a running brook, then allowed a roaring waterfall, and then took those present out to sea, where a fleet of fishing boats went out to net the fish and to bring them to the shore in thousands. The " Warwick Chronicle" was successful in giving graphic pictures of recent events in the Old Land. Amongst these were visits by the Duke and Duchess of Connaught, the funeral of Sir Charles Dilke, a fire in a rubber factory, and, most interesting of all, the launching of the battleship Thunderer. Amongst other interesting .pieces were "The Double Elopement," " A Miraculous Recovery," 'and "Two Boys in Blue," the last introducing some military scones. The. comio pieces wore decidedly funny. Perhaps . the best of theo« v.as an adaptation of "Springheeled Jack," who after causing infinite troubles to many people, ended his career impaled on the spire of a cathedral. Tho same programme will be given this evening.

WEST-HAYWARD PICTURES, There was another good attendance at His Majesty's Theatre last evening, when the how programme was repeated, evidently to the satisfaction of those who were present. It will be given again this evening. OPERA HOUSE. The Opera House was Avell patronised last evening by an appreciative audience, who frequently applauded the efforts of the Vaudeville Company. The same programme will be given this evening.
