PERSONAL.

The members of the Katherine Grey Dramatic Company arrived from Sydney by the Moeraki this morning. Amongst the passengers by the Mararoa from Wellington this morning wore Messrs G. B. Starky and W. MiJne.

Mr Newman Hall, who has been on an extended visit to America and England, returned to Christchurch this morning.

Messrs T. Tobias (Dunedin), J. R. Geddes (London) and F. Davison and E. Davison (Oulverden) arrived in Ohristohurch to-day. A Press Association message from Dunedin states that the Otago Education Board's staff, through the Chief Inspector (Mr Richardson) presented ex-Inspector P. Goyen with a suit-case and a sorereign-caso.
