THE COUNCIL'S AMENDMENTS. [From Opr WELLINGTON, November 24. The report of the managers appoint«d to prepare reasons tor disagreeing with the Legislative Council's amendments to the Gaming Bill was adopted. Tlio reason for disagreeing specified was tliat the amendments seemed to vary tho policy of the measure as passed by the House.
