ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
[Pier Association".] DIJNEDIN, August 24. At the inouest concerning the death of William Clements, on the Ganymede, tho Coroner recorded a verdict that death was caused by shock, the result of severe scalds, arising from the escape of steam from the safety-valve, and that in his opinion the want of sufficient means of e*it caused the serious result of the accident.
