WELLINGTON, August 24. Thomas Finncrty, a young man who broke a window in Frank Grady's jewellery aliop and grabbed a lot of rings valued at £IOO and ran away, but was caught by two civilians, was to-day committed to tho Supreme Court for sentence. In a statement to the police Finnerty, who was not drunk at the time, said that the diamonds looked "too tempting".
