THE VICTORIAN MISSION. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received August 24, 8.35 a.m.) LONDON, August 23. The Victorian immigration l delegation has completed its mission. It was highly, Scotland, hut had a less sympathetic reception in Ireland, whore official co-operation was denied, tho authorities not desiring further emigration. It is expected that theresuit of the British mission will be that 300 families will be secured, with capital ranging from £IOO to £IOOO apiece, and 200 farm labourers' families with £2O upwards apiece. Berths for 300 people have been booked f or October.
