SUPREME COURT.

IN CHAMBERS. Friday, Acccst 5. (Before his Honor Mr Justice Sim.) His Honor sat in Chambers this morning, when the following matters were dealt with:— In the case Mason, Struthers and Co.. Limited, v. Pugh (Mr Beswick), a motion to enter judgment for plaintiff for amount of claim, with costs, judgment was given for plaintiff for £ls Os Bd, and costs £5 os and disbursements, and l a certificate was, granted in terms of Section 146 of the Magistrates Court Act, 1908. In J. G. Bahnerman v. the Bank of New Zealand (Mr Flesher), a motion for order and consent, an order was made for payment to plaintiff of the amount now in Court, and for payment by William Skinner of plaintiff's costs, tho amount to be settled by agreement.

A motion to grant executors' commission in the estate of Robert Heabon Rhodes (Mr Beswick) was referred to the Registrar to report. In the case Curlett v. Searle and another (Mr C. A. Stringer), a summons to show cause why the action should not be dismissed, tho case was struck out, by consent. In Carr v. the Ashburton Hospital and Charitable Aid Board, a summons to show cause why plaintiff should not have leave to deliver interrogatories, an •order was made accordingly, an affidavit to be filed within ten days. _ Probate was granted in tho following deceased persons' estates: Henry William Atkins (Mr Wright), Joseph Richard James (Mr Gresson), Samuel Clarke (Mr Milk), Ruth King (Mr Ritchie), Isabella Alalia ktoveloy Mr Beswick), Richard Bowman (Mr Mills), Si M'Rae (Mr Bishop) Timothy Mullius (Mr Kitehmgham), Uiomas Francis Hanknsson (Mr AYiight), ThmrL Ritchie (Mr Ritclne) Helena Mataura. Twentymau. (Mr Maude) administration granted.

The criminal sessions of the Supreme Court will open on August lu, and on \„"u ß b'2o his Honor will hold a bankruptev sitting at 10 a.m., and will deal with all bankruptcy cases.
