LONDON, August 2. • One thousand delegates, including Australian, were present at the annual "•athering of tho Foresters' High .Court*, at Birmingham. The Clner Hanger, in the course of a speech, said ■that two and a. half million days ot sickness were paid for annually by .the Order in the United, Kingdom. The proposed State insurance against sickness and invalidity would only be. successful if the Friendly Societies and the State were mutually satisfied. Hie societies would only accept the responsibilities of administration if the rights of self-management were continued. ,He was glad that Mr Lloyd was considering exempting.
