HOW TO DESTROY DANDRUFF GERM.
(By A SPECIALIST.) That the dandruff germ is responsible for nearly all the diseases to which the n scalp is; heir, as well as for baldness and premature grey hair, is a wellknown fact, but when wo realise that it is also directly responsible for many of the worst cases of catarrh and consumption, we appreciate the importance of any agent that will destroy its power. We are therefore particularly p'ea3ed to give herewith the prescription which an eminent scientist and epecialist states he has found, alter repeated teste, to completely. destroy the dandruff' germ in from one to three appl'cations. This prescription can be madti up at home, or any chemist will rut it up for you : 3 ounces Bay Rum, ounce Lavona de Composee, dram Menthol Crystals. Mix thoroughly, and after standing half an hour it is ready for use. Apply nkrht and morn- ' rubbing into the scalp with fingertips. If vou wish it perfumed. half t" aspoonful of Frenoh Fon Fleur perfume. which unites perfectly with the other ingredients. This preparation is not a dye, but is unequalled for promoting; a growth of new hair, and tor restoring grey hair to its original cixour.
CAUTION.—Do not apply where ]-n.iv is not desired, and be sure to avoid containing poisonous wood alrwliul. 807
ought to be bare, and the tufts at tho tip of the tail and on each paw will be .beautifully balanced in size.
