Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, July 28. The Nioderdeutsche-Bank at Dortmund lias failed. Ohm, a, director, has been arrested at the public prosecutor's instance. The "Daily Telegraph" states that the bank's obligations amount to three million sterling. The "Daily News" states that the failure is largely attributed to improper speculation on the American markets. Other banks were unable to extricate the bank, but are endeavouring to assist the smaller creditors, especially depositors, mostly miners and other workers. The capital amounts to £60,000 and the deposits to £441,000. The assets have not been ascertained.
