The increase in mutton was:? from 765,000 to 1,475,000 carcases, in beef from 5000 to 27,000 quarters, in canned meats from 134,000 to '254,000 cases. WIRELESS TELEGRAPHY. Pennant Hills Village has been chosen as the site of a Federal wireless station. GREAT OPAL FIND. An opal weighing sixty pounds, and valued at £200,000 sterling, lias been found at White Cliffs. ECCLESIASTICAL VESTMENTS. Archbishop Wright ha,? declared the use of vestments illegal.
