GALE AT NORFOLK ISLAND.
«. EXTENSIVE DAMAGE. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyrizht. SYDNEY, March 31. Norfolk Island reports that heavy gales on Monday and yesterday did considerable damage. A portion of the whaling sheds was washed away, and three boats are missing. The mission shed was damaged, and great damage was done to verandahs, roofs and fencing. Pino trees were uprooted, all over the islands.
