CHRISTCHURCH. Saturday, March 5. (Before Mr ii. W. Bishop, S.M.) Dkunkkknkss.—Six first offenders were fined 5s with the usual alternative.—Jons Christian Jensen, a second offender, was fined 20s or forty-eight hours' imprisonment.—Edward Carolan, a second offender, was finod 10s or forty-eight hours' imprisonment. On a further charge of naving resisted tho police Carolan was fined 10s or seven days' imprisonment. lah'ohtvxi.n'g. Mary Lloyd (Mr Lea them) was fined 5s or twenty-four hours' imprisonment for drunkenness, and convicted and discharged on a charge of having solicited prostitution.
