He expects to be at his home for' about a week.

The Hon R. M'Kenzie and Mr T. Y. Seddon will proceed to the West Coast to-morrow morning. The Minister is to meet the miners who recently struck at the State coal mine. The miners, it will be remembered, resumed work on the understanding that a settlement of their complaints would be made after the holidays, and the Minister is to discuss terms with' them. .

Mr James Allen will spend a few days with Mr R. H. Rhodes.-
