DRUIDS' PICNIC.
The annual picnic of the' Order of Druids was held on Monday, at the Riccarton Racecourse. There was a large attendance. Sports provided interesting entertainment, and the Lyttelton Marine Band, assisted by members of the band of H.M.S. Challenger, played a programme of music. The prizes were presented after tea by the District President, Brother G. Bates. The following are the results of the sports: — 120yds Handicap, open— W. Jarrard I', Hill 2. 75yds Handicap, single ladies— Miss Taylor 1, Miss Hazelwood 2. 100yds Handicap, married men — Lowry 1, Deans 2. 75yds Handicap, members' wives — Mrs "Wilkinson 1, Mrs Walker 2. 100yds Handicap, Druids— Luxton I, ' Webb 2. Married La-dies' Handicap — Mrs Muir 1, Mlrs Hawker 2. Siamese Race— Hutchins and Mitchell 1. Obstacle' Race—^Mitchell 1, Godfrey 2. Committee Race— Ford 1, Neate 2.
