Mr Kalaugher wrote stair Sg that owing to the Tiraaru agricuifearal and pastoral show being held a1 the end of the month it was difficuH to obtain accommodation for the riden for the night prior to the race. It was resolved to ask competitors to make aarly application in booking, theii • rooms. The Sophia Street Hall, Tim aril, has been obtained as an office or Friday afternoon prior to the race, am Mr Kalaugher will be in attendanci fchere to give competitors their num bers and seal all bicycles. The secre tary reported that up to the preseh--14 5' acceptances had been received foi fche race. It was decided to engage t land to play selections during the af lternoon at f'lnmpton Park.
