• +_- The "United Bowling 1 , Tennis and Croquet j Club opened its oea«on this afternoon, in fine wes.ker. There was a larje attendance of members and friends, and all the greens were fully occupied during (lie afternoon. Bowlitu representatives were present from the Sydenham, Opawa, Christchuroh, St Albana, Linwood, Canterbi'— Edffeware Road, Sannyside and Rangiora Clubs, and matches were played between rinks from the various clubs.
