Mr Justice Cooper described the case as a t rery sad one, the woman being more sinned against than sinning, and ordered the accused to come up for sentence when called , upon. William Willis, against whom there were previous convictions, was sentenced to three years oh charges of breaking and entering, and his Honor imposed a similar sentence on James M'Lean, charged with , theft and forgery.
