THE SAMARITAN HOME.
TO THB EDITOR.
Sir,— The Samaritan Home is indebted to you for your article in last evening's issue. It should be of material assistance in the collecting of the £50 -till due from voluntary contribations. With nearly the whole of your remarks I naturally agree, but you go a little astray when dealing with the financial position. Up to March 31, 1908 the voluntary contributions amounted to £126 10s, being £26 10s over and above the £100 per annum. At the present time between £40 and £50 is required to make up the £100 for the year ending March 31 last. When this is raised the amount required from voluntary contributors will be fully subscribed, and the Home will be entitled to receive the amount of its requisition for the current year from the Charitable Aid Board.— l remain, etc., C. HASTINGS BRIDGE.
