The 4 per cent portion of the German Imperial and Prussian loans has been covered twofold, and for the 3_ per cent portion somewhat less has been subscribed.

(Prussian consols to the amount of £24,000,000 and a German Imperial loan of £16,000,000 were issued, half each at 4 per cent and the other half at 3_ per cent.)
