The annual meeting of the Western Australian Alliauce adopted the report of the secretary "and condemned the Teport of Mr Carson, special commissioner, on the 1 grounds that he did not interview the heads of. the Temperance Party in 'New Zealand. x Mr Carson in a letter to the Press stated that lie discussed the liquor question at considerable length . with the Rev F. W. Isitt, secretary of the New Zealand Alliance, while the only person connected with .the liquor trade he^ interviewed was Mr Williams, secretary of the Licensed Victuallers.
