PARISHIONERS' MEETING.
ST MICHAEL'S CHURCH. The annual meeting of the parishioners of the parish of St Michael and AH Angels was held in the St Michael's schoolroom last evening. Archdeacon Averill presided, and the building was filled to overflowing. In his opening address the Vicar eulogised the services which Mr G. G. Bridges, one of, the wardens, had rendered to the church during all the time , he had been connected with it. He said that Mr Bridges was methodical in his work, willing and an ideal vestryman. ' Each year showed the valuable work that lie was doing and proved that he had the interests of the church at heart. The annual report and balance sheet, which were adopted, ' showed a credit balance of £57 I7s sd. The following officers were elected : — Churchwardens, Messrs G. G. Bridges (parishioners') and C. Loveday (Vicar's); honorary auditor, Mr R. E. Ml Evans; vestry. Messrs W. Barrett, G. T. Chdsnali, W. B. Dixon, E. Evans, T. D. Harman, S. M'Murray, M. C. Orbell, S. Smith and E. W. Relph, and Ifr Manning. ' A vote o§ thanks was passed to the church workers.
