COLOSSEUM.
The Colosseum was packed on Thursday evening and a large number of people were unable to gain admission. Wb» "Wide World Pictures Syndicate presented a new programme, which included many attractive pictures and iwas very warmly applauded. A particularly olear fjjyn was one depicting Wilbttr "Wright's aeroplane preparing for an ascent, in full flight, and^ landIng Again. " Agriculture in the Argentine ■ was another very fine film of jconsklerable educational value. A fourth series of the popular "Nick Carter" detective . "stories" ' wa9 Jheartily applauded. " A Loyal Wo- j jnaii" was an excellent dramatic The comic section was very j HreU xepresenteds and each film in the j geries evoked great laughter. "The Currant Industry," "Panorama of OBenares" and "Parry Lauder off to America " were films of special merit. Th* Wide : - World Pictures drew an Absolutely full attendance to the Coloswam last, evening, and. the previous evening^ programme was repeated with signal success. To-day there will be •fter&oos and evening performances.
