THE NEW YORK MARATHON. United Press Association— By Electric Telegraph — Copyright. (Received April 5, 8.20 a.m.) NEW YORK, . April 4. The Marathon Derby at New York drew 40,000 spectators. Saint Yves, a French runner, won the 5000 dollars prize, and Dorando the second prize of 2500 dollars. Longboat, Shrubty. Hayes and Mat Malpney also ran.
