[From Oitr Correspondent.] DUNEDIN, August 22. The metropolitan team defeated the country team by twenty points to ten. In the Association matches Northern beat Mornington B by two goals to nil; Waikari beat Mornington A by five goals to three; and Maori Hill beat Southern by three goals to two.

[Per Press Association.] INVERCARGILL, August 22. The Otago High School defeated the Southland High School here this morning by nine points to nil. Anthill (lock) scored two tries for the visitors and Thomson (centre three-quarter) one.
