Messrs Dutton and Aunger, two wellknown South Australian, motorists, have arrived from Adelaide in a motorcar. The two men and their machine are in excellent condition after the long and hazardous journey across Australia, which was accomplished on one set of tyres. Tlie party had a second car, which was railed from Pine Creek. It stood the journey excellently, although it had been exposed for seven months to the tropical sun and rain. (Messrs Dutton and Aunger set out on their journey, a distance of about 2000 miles, in the first week in July. Their car was a 25 h.p. Talbot, which had been specially strengthened For the occasion. A previous effort of a similar naturb was made last year, but it had to he abandoned at Tennant Creek, which is between 700 and 800 miles from Port Darwin. The car was left behind on that occasion, and this is the second car referred to in to-day's
