For Australian States, via Hobart, per express, to connect with Warrimoo, at 11.10 a.m. ; late fee letters, 11.25 a.m. ; guard's van. 11.55 a.m. train. For Northern Ports and Westport-, per Maori, at 6.23 p.m.; late fee letters, 6.40 p.m. ; guard's van, 7.45 p.m. train ; also, per Monowai, «f. 7.20 p.m. ; late fee letters, 7.85 p.m. ; guard's van, 10.55 p.m. train. MONDAY, AUGUST 24. For Northern Ports and West-port, per Pateena, at 4.15 p.m.; late foe letters, 4.30 p.m. ; guard's van, 5.25 p.m. train. NOTE.— -On and after Tuesday, September 1. the following public counters at the Chief Post Offics, Christchurch, will be cpen daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.: — Stamps, Registered Letters, Delivery of Correspondence (for counter corresr>ondence only), and the Parcel Poet Branch, Hereford Street.
