AFTERNOON SITTING.

The Council met at 2.30 p.m. FIRST READINGS. Tho Roman Catholic Archbishop' of Wellington Empowering Bill, Wellington Harbour Board Empowering Bill, Local Elections and Polls Bill, Town Boards Act Amendment Bill, and Farriers Bill were read a first time THE LATE HON H. FELDWICK. The Hon Dr Findlay moved a vote of condolence with the family of the late Hon H. Feldwick, and that the Council should place on record its appreciation of the services of Mr Feldwick and the loss the country had sustained in his death." The Hon A. Baldey seconded the motion, which was carried, and the Council adjourned.
