AMUSEMENTS.
OPERA HOUSE. The Royal Wide World Pictures were shown at the Opera House last evening to a good audience and were received with many • expressions of appreciation. This evening the weekly change of programme will be made and a number of entirely new films will bo shown for' the first time in Christchurch. They will cover a wide range i of subjects, and chief among them will j be a dramatic film entitled "The Squaw Man's Daughter," and a fine film depicting the work of orphanage boys.
