The friob, foiled, then wrecked a restaurant belonging to the owner of the motorbar. The soldiers in a tussle at this Itage killed two persons and wounded bwenty. The mob thereupon rutehed the negro quarter, but nearly all the inhabitants had taken refuge in the yrsenal or in the suburbs. The mob der Strayed their property. Two innocent negroes were caught and lynched.
