Frozen Meat.—The Frozen Meat Trades Association's SmithfieJd market quotations for the undermentioned classes of frozen meats are based ' on actual sales of not less than 100. carcases of mutton or lamb, or twenty-five carcases of beef of fair average quality. These quotations are not for selected lines, but for parcels fairly representative of the bulk of -the shipments now on the market:—Mutton—New Zealand cross-bred wethers and maiden ewes, North Island, 551b to 651b, 3gd; best brands, 3|d; rest unchanged. Lamb-r-Canterbury, light, 281b-361b, 5 9-16d; medium, sfd; heavy, 361b-421b, sd. Beef—Ox forequarters, 180lb-2201b, 3|d; ox hindquarters, 1801b-2201b, 4fd. River Plate mutton is unchariged; beef, forequarters 3d, hindquarters 4^d.
