Messrs Dalgety and Company, Ltd., Christchurch, have received the following cable message from their London, office, dated July 30 :— " Frozen Meat. _A fair demand continues for frozen lamb. There is a poor demand for frozen mutton, which runs principally on finest qualities. The market for frozen beef is firm, but there us not much demand. We quote-^New Zea^ land prime cross-bred lamb, Canterbury heavv s|d, light s*d, -North Island do., heavy 5R lfcM> W; Ne £ ? ea K prime cross-bred ' mutton, Canterbury heavy Bfd, light 4*d, North Island do., heavy 3J, light 3|d; New Zealand prime ox beef, forequarters 2|d ; hindquarters 3&a. Hot weather is .limiting business. Sheepskins— Since our last telegram prices of combing merino sheepskins are higher by id. Pricesjor other descriptions are unchanged 1 ." .
