Clanchattan and Toa Tuhi led into the straight, when Gazeley joined them, and a good finish resulted in a length victory for Toa Tuhi; Clanchattan an excellent third. Time — lmin 32 4-ssec. SILVERSTREAM HACK HANDICAP, of 100 soys; seven furlongs — Wailethe. Bst 10lb, 1, Wharekura, 7st 41b, 2; North Pole, 3st 41b, 3. The Libyan Sst Blb and Osiris 7st lllb also started. Wharekura led to the straight, where Wailethe joined him, and won fairly easily by half a length. Osiris fell at the four furlong post. Time — lmin 33&ec. EGMONT RACING CLUB.
