The recruiting schooner Fawn was wrecked on the New Hebrides. The crew were saved. - The crew of the wrecked barque Emmanuel have reached Sydney. After the vessel drove ashore they spent a perilous night aboard. There were several narrow escapes owing to the mast carrying away. The crew escaped with the boats in the morning.
