(Received April 15, 8.15 a.m.)
LONDON, April 14.
Opinion in France is favourable to. Mr Asquith's Ministry. The " Temps " says Mr Asquith's practical opportune ism has replaced Sir H. Campbell Banner man's naive sentimentalism, whicK was full of illusions and occasionally! embarrassing. The " Chronicle " says that the Government intends to increase the status lof the Presidents of the Boards of Trade and Local Government, allotting salaries of £5000 to each.
