FOOTBALL.
THE BEITISH TEAM. The London correspondent of the "Lyttelton Times" gives the following list of members of the British team to tour New Zealand: — Full-backs— Dyke, Jackett. Three-quarters — Vaasall, R. C. Thomas, J. L. Williams. J. E. Jones, ■G-ibbs, Chapman, Dr M'Evedy, Imrie. Half-backs — W. Morgan, J. P. Jones (of Tuan), Saxon. G. L. "Williams. Forwards — J. F. Williams, A. F. Harding, Oldham, Dibble. Green, A. Smith, F. Smith, Kitson, Kyrke, Archer, Down, L. S. Thomas, D. Morgan and Boylan. About half the members of the team are Welshmen and the others English, Scotland and Ireland are not repm«mted, their Unions having decided not to co-operate in the proposed tour. M'Evedy and .Chapman are New Zealanders, the latteT playing this year for Cambridge University, and the former for Guy's Hospital and the London Irish. Archer is a Guy's Hospital player, and Vassall an Oxford Blue. Dyke is the Welsh international full-back, and Jackett the English international.
