+ Mr T. A. Murphy, Collector of Customs, Lyttelton, is to retire on April 1. He has been connected with the Customs Department for nearly fortythree years, and has been stationed in Lyttelton since June, 1893. Mr and Mrs S. Atkinson (Auckland), Mr W. Green (Dunedin) and Mr H. Lewis (Wellington) are in Christchurch. Dr Valintine, Inspectors-General of Hospitals, arrived in Christchurch today.
