[Peb Press Associ.vnox.] DUNEDIN, March 20. The body of a married woman named , ; Mary Hubbard, about fifty-five years ■ old, who resided in King Street, was : found on Tomahawk Beach this afternoon. Deceased left home about 11 , a.m., stating that she was going to ; have a look round. James Brady, who was found in an unconscious condition on the railway ] line near Port Chalmers on Wednesday week, having apparently been struck by a passing train, died in the Hospi- ] tal this afternoon without having re- , gained consciousness. At the inquest : on Brady the jury found that deceased was accidentally struck by a railway train in motion on" the Port Chalmers OAMARU, March 21. The police have received word from Maheno that an old ace pensioner named "Williams was found dead in his hut. INVEROARGILL, March 20. The medical evidence at the inquest on Mrs Garthwaite, who was found dying near Lumsden, was to the effect that death was due to gastritis, brought ' on by drink and exposure to cold and wet. A verdict was returned accordingly.
