A special meeting of the Canterbury Cricket Association was held last evening, Mr F. C. Raphael i,n the chair. The meeting was convened to discuss Mr E. H. Secretan's suggestion that he should be empowered to engage and control a coach for the Association at a salary of £400 a year.
