I [Pee, Pkess Association.] WELLINGTON, December 18. To-day a man named Frederick Cooper was committed for trial on two charges ot breaking and entering private residences. In one of the catas it ,was btated that a cash-box which had been taken out of the house and left in a -coal shed had finger prints upon it. These prints, it was stated in- evidence were identical with the left thumb print of the accused.
