FIRES IN A HOTEL. [Per Press Association.] NAPIER, November 23

Ethel Olsen, aged^twenty years, was before the Court to-day charged with wilfully setting fire t<* the West Clive Hotel. From the particulars available it appears that the licensee found three incipient fires in the hotel about six o'clock yesterday morning and suppressed, them with difficulty before much damage was done. As th© result of inquiries th© police, arrested Olsen on a charge of being concerned in the affair. She was remanded till December 2, bail being allowed.
