£5 FINE. [Per Prkss Association.] WELLINGTON, September 3. David Stewart was to-day fined £5 on a charge oi selling beer without a license. Accused had obtained a cask of beer and placed it in the scullery of an unoccupied house, where % number of thirsty men soon gathered, Stewart, according to the inspector of police, doing a brisk trade.
