The dredge Manchester went into dock thia morning for an overhaul. The 9.8. Csnopus is to leave Lyttelton tomorrow afternoon for W.estport. where she will load a cargo of coal for Wellington. The s.s. Pateena, -which has been with3rawn from the " ferry " service, is laid up Ht 'Wellington. The Union Steamship Company's s.s. Mnraroa, fresh from her overhaul at Port .Chalmers, has resumed running 1 in the "ferry" ■ervice, and arrived from' Wellington &t BAO ».m. to-d*y, under th& command of Capiain Manning. Mr J A. Wallace retains the position of chief officer. Mr Fisher, from the 8.5., Pateena. is second officer, and ,Mr W. Lindsay third. Mr M'Dowell is chief ensiBeer. Mr Cunningham purser, and Mr Halley chief steward.
