MELBOURNE, September 3. There were twenty-six deaths from influenza in the metropolis last month, a record for August for the past ten years. EIGHT HOURS' DEMONSTRATION. ADELAIDE, September 3. There was fine weather for the Eight Hours' Demonstration, which, was the most successful for years.
