VIENNA, September 2. ■ • Professor Armimus Vambery contributes to the "Neue Freie Presse" a strong criticism of the Anglo-Russian agreement. He doubts if it will remove the rivalry of a century or enBure a peaceful future in Asia. It is possible the two Powers will reach an understanding regarding Persia and Tibet, but he is pessimistic regarding (Britain obtaining reliable guarantees [ concerning Afghanistan.
