THE AUCKLAND TEAM.
[Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND, August 13. j The -selector to the Auckland Rugby < Union. has chosen the following players to represent Auckland in the southern tour : — Backs, Miller, Murray, Twiname, Dillamore. R. Magee, Stuckey, Tarrant, Hogan, Ladner {of Auckland), Snowling (Thames), and Coote (Waikato) ; forwards, M'Donald, Gillett, Maguire (two, City and Grafton), Nicholson, Sealing, Francis. Hall, Cunningham, Kinder, M'Cormick, Williams (of Auckland), ( and Hayward (Thames). Emergencies — Backs, Wilson, Woodward (Auckland) and Newdick (Thames); for- j wards, Pople, Walsh,, Hooper a,nd Smith (Thames). The team will probably leave Auckland next Tuesday. The first match, will be played against Taianaki.
